Essential Oil Blends for Every Occasion

Why essential Oil Blends Work so Well

When we smell something, the scent’s molecules are sensed by the receptor cells in our nose, which creates an impulse. This impulse then travels to the brain through the olfactory nerve axons and is processed by the olfactory bulb. Our olfactory bulb then sends this information directly to the brain area called the limbic system, containing the amygdala and hippocampus which are implicated in controlling memory, mood, emotions, and even behavior. So simply smelling a scent can instantly alter your mood and influence your behavior without you even realizing it.
